DESIGN CONCEPT
イベント特性に呼応し、躍動するレースシーンを彷彿とさせるサーキットさながらの空間表現を試みた。
ファサード面に活用した素材はスキー場等で靴底の雪落とし用に利用されている再生ゴムフロアマット。
レイアウトには仮設観戦スタンドやピットパドック部材、システムパネル部材等の再利用可能アイテムを積極的に活用しデザイン性と簡易な施工性を両立、廃棄物削減を目指した。
得てして殺風景になりがちな再利用アテム部材であるが、それぞれの部材が要する無骨なディテールの存在感を整理し臨場感溢れる個性的なエコ展示空間を企てた。

NISSAN stand for the Tokyo Auto Salon 2012
Corresponding to the trait of event, the booth is designed to deliver the lively look and feel of a race circuit.
The material used for the façade is the reclaimed rubber made for floor mats to drop snow from the shoe sole in the skiing grounds.
Also utilized are the materials used for the temporary spectators’ stand, the pit paddock members, the system members, and other reusable items. Moreover, the exciting design is consort with the simplified construction method which results in reduction of waste.
It is often said that the reused items are tasteless. However, we challenged that common sense by organizing the roughness in the details of each material, then established the vivid and eco-friendly exhibition space with presence.
